AI Talent Search Results

Search like you think

"Java developer with 5+ years AWS experience in Sydney"

"Product manager who's worked in fintech startups"

"Senior nurse with emergency department experience in Melbourne"

"Data scientist with NLP and Python, preferably PhD"

Semantic understanding

AI understands that "cloud infrastructure" relates to AWS, Azure, and GCP without you listing each one.

Ranked by fit

Results scored and ranked by genuine relevance to your query, not just keyword frequency.

Bulk actions

Select candidates and add to talent pools, requisitions, or outreach sequences in one click.

Not just keywords

Traditional ATS search matches exact words. GoVerse uses semantic embeddings to understand what you mean:

Old way: "Java" AND "AWS" AND "Sydney"

Misses candidates who say "cloud computing" or "Amazon Web Services"

GoVerse: "Java developer with cloud experience in Sydney"

Finds all relevant candidates regardless of exact terminology

Turn your database into a talent pipeline

Most teams sit on thousands of candidates they have already sourced, screened or spoken to, then start every new role from scratch because their ATS search can't surface the right people. AI talent search changes that. Describe the role in a sentence and GoVerse ranks your entire database by genuine fit, resurfacing strong candidates you already have. The best hire for your next role is often someone you have met before; this is how you find them.

Because the search is semantic, it understands intent rather than matching strings. Ask for a "product manager who's worked in fintech startups" and it recognises related industries, adjacent titles and comparable experience, not just CVs that contain those exact words. The result is a shortlist ranked by capability, with the reasoning visible so you can trust the order. From there you can run AI candidate screening on the long-list or push people straight into candidate relationship management and outreach.

Where teams use AI talent search

Building shortlists fast

Go from an open requisition to a ranked long-list in minutes, then push candidates straight into outreach.

Talent pool activation

Query pools by capability so they stay useful and ranked, rather than decaying into a static list of names.

Frequently asked questions

What is AI talent search?

AI talent search lets you find candidates by describing what you need in plain language. Instead of building boolean keyword strings, you type a natural request and the AI ranks your database by genuine capability and fit, understanding related skills and transferable experience.

How is it different from boolean search in an ATS?

Boolean search matches exact keywords, so it misses candidates who phrase their experience differently and rewards those who happen to use the right words. GoVerse uses semantic understanding: it knows "cloud infrastructure" covers AWS, Azure and GCP, so you find the right people regardless of exact terminology.

Does it search my own candidate database?

Yes. GoVerse searches across your talent pool and existing candidate records, surfacing people you already have but might have overlooked, so you get value from candidates you have already sourced.

Can I take action on the results?

Yes. Select candidates from the ranked results and add them to talent pools, requisitions, or outreach sequences in one click, so search flows straight into your workflow.

Is AI talent search available on the free trial?

Yes. Talent search is available on all plans, including the free trial. Start searching your database with natural language at no cost, no credit card required.

How semantic search reads a query

When you type "senior nurse with emergency department experience in Melbourne", GoVerse does not hunt for those exact words. It converts your query into a vector, a mathematical representation of its meaning, and compares it against vectors built from every profile in your database. Candidates whose experience sits close to your intent rank highest, even when their CV never uses your phrasing. Someone who wrote "triage lead, Royal Melbourne ED" ranks near the top because the meaning lines up, not because the letters do.

This is why the same search that finds an obvious match also surfaces the near-misses a keyword filter drops. A boolean string is binary: a profile either contains "emergency department" or it does not. Vector search is graded, so you get a ranked list from strongest to weakest fit and decide where to draw the line. You can loosen a search that returned too few people or tighten one that returned too many, without rewriting a single AND or OR. The same vector approach underpins our skills-based matching.

An honest note on what search can and can't do

Search is only as good as the data underneath it. If a candidate's profile is a two-line CV from 2019, no amount of semantic matching will invent experience they never wrote down. GoVerse ranks on what it can read, so keeping profiles enriched (through screening, voice screening, or updated CVs) directly improves what search can find. Garbage in still ranks garbage, just faster.

Search also finds capability, not availability or interest. A perfect-on-paper candidate might have taken a new role last month or have no intention of moving. That is why search feeds straight into outreach and engagement rather than pretending to be the end of the process. You get the ranked list in minutes; the human conversation that follows is still where the hire is made. Talent search comes with all plans including the free trial, so the cost of running one more query is nothing.
